PROGRAMS

The Timmins Boxing Club offers both competitive and recreational boxing programs.  Athletes are divided by age group; adult, youth and kids.  The kids program runs on Saturday mornings and the youth and adult programs run Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings.

Fall

The kids box fit program is for children between the ages of 6 and 11.

  • 1 time per week

  • Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30

  • Basic boxing fundamentals

  • Promotes positive attitude towards fitness and health

  • Self-defense

  • Fun, games, non-intimidating, safe and positive environment

  • Application of balance, coordination, stamina, and endurance

The youth program is for members between the ages of 12 and 18.

  • 2-3 x week, 6 x per month, 1 x per week

  • Fall and Winter

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 to 7:30 and Saturdays from 10:45 to 11:45

  • Summer

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 7:00

  • Boxing fundamentals

  • Self-defense

  • Offensive and defensive drills

  • Cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength and endurance

  • Safe and positive environment

The adult program is for members between the 19 years of age and older.

  • 2-3 x week, 6 x per month, 1 x per week

  • Fall and Winter

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45 to 9:15 and Saturdays from 12:00 to 1:00

  • Summer

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:15 to 8:30

  • Boxing fundamentals

  • Self-defense

  • Offensive and defensive drills

  • Cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength and endurance

  • Safe and positive environment
